  • 600 Total Watt/Seconds
  • 2- 300 W/s Monolights
  • Reflectors, Umbrellas
  • Light Stands, Sync Cord
This is the Impact Two Monolight Kit without Case (120VAC). The VSD300 has cushioned touch-pad function control buttons. Power is adjustable in 1/10 stop increments, from full to 1/8 power. Its model light intensity may be controlled coupled to, or independent from the strobe power levels you select. This kit provides ample power to light a three-four person full-length portrait.

The Impact VS300 is a good unit for occasional use by a hobbyist, or beginning professional. It is a good choice for building a system - its built-in optical slave fires the flash without wires, from the light of any other flash system. Its flashtube is good for tens of thousands of pops, and is replaceable.

This two monolight kit includes air cushioned light stands, 45" white translucent umbrellas, and a sync cord (Mini plug to PC).

Comments about Impact Two Monolight Kit without Case (120VAC):

So I bought these strobe lights last week and I absolutely love them. They give a fantastic power output even on its lowest setting, I had to use aperture settings of F11 or so for some pictures at 100th of a second. These are amazing for portrait use because you have 2 with built in slave modes. And the color temp is very consistent and with the umbrella's provides a very soft light. I would highly recommend that you buy some sort of pocket wizard set up. It comes in handy because you have less cords running around. And extension cords. Highly recommend extension cords.

There are a few cons though. The beep that comes out from when you change the power settings is annoying after some time and you cannot change that. The light stands that it comes with do move a lot when brought to heights (which is expected) but id recommend some sand bags to hold it down especially if you use it outside like I did. I almost dropped my strobe light after a day of use because the wind blew it over.

The other issue I faced was when I used this outdoors the slave mode didnt work with the strobes, so if you want to use it outside get 2 receivers (Powersync 16 works AMAZING!) that way you have guaranteed communication between strobes. Thats really the only reason I gave it a 4.
