Comments about Beseler Red Safety Filter:

When you see it you think. , oh brother I paid [$] for this little piece of plastic. But after testing it became invaluable. I held a piece of paper for 4 and 8 min intervals under the red light. Then processed in dektol as normal. Not a trace of fog. Perfect white. This filter does the job. It will translate into easier arrangement of your paper in the easel. When exposing Test strips you get to view exactly the placement of your strip of paper under the light. You get to choose the important areas of your exposure to be tested. For instance in a portrait you would place the strip in the area of the face you need to test. Because you can hold under the light for as long as you need, the placement is perfectly located. Well worth the price
