Comments about Sachtler Clamping Screw Kit:

This tie-down handle does what it's supposed to do. I bought this for use with my Sachtler FSB-8 head. It includes what I presume is a replacement bolt for the head, and a wrench.

This handle is too long to fit under most hi hats. It is one solid piece of plastic molded around a metal core, so there's no easy way to shorten it. For anyone else with this problem, my solution was to take a hacksaw to the handle right above the rounded grip section. Once I'd cut through the plastic all the way around the metal, I was able to twist and pull the round section off relatively easily, revealing that the metal core ends about a half inch below where the rounded part begins. I then wrapped the entire handle in black gaff tape to cover the sharp edges and haven't regretted it since. I find it's even easier to grip now than before.
