Needed a portable power strip that held transformer blocks for use when working on-site. This does -- in a well-designed package that allows me to pack it tightly and not worry about it tearing or scratching anything. I will buy another -- and perhaps more than that.

This strip is fantastic! I bought 2, they both fit neatly in my laptop case and give me 8 outlets, using just 2 wall outlets. Power cord wraps around strip and takes up VERY little space. I wanted to get the 6 outlet version, but it had been discontinued. But these 4 outlet versions are perfect. Wall plug is illuminated so if it's plugged into a switched outlet, you'll know right away if it still is getting power or not. What's not so great about this product? NOTHING.

It's perfect for those hotel rooms that have limited outlets for their guests. It handled two phone chargers, a battery camera charger, an iPad charger, and one more item whenever I needed it. I like the blue light on the plug to let you know that the outlet is hot (or not). You can't beat the price!

The widely-spaced outlets on this power strip are great for taming wall wart power supplies that can often take up more than one space on a typical power strip. I plugged 4 wall warts into this strip and turned them into 1 good plug.
I always use Monster Power power strips because they are attractive, well-designed, solidly-built, have great cables, and are made for audio, video, and computer gear, not for power drills and home hardware applications. They last forever and are worth paying a little extra for. However, this little 4 outlet strip is pretty cheaply priced no matter what the brand.
I also have another Outlets to Go power strip with 3 outlets plus 1 USB, and I carry that one with me along with an iPad and iPhone and MacBook Air and it is lightweight, small, folds up well, and easily enables me to plug in all 3 devices even if only 1 outlet is available. And the whole power strip is cheaper than many iPhone adapters. If you have devices that power from USB then that version may be better for you.
The one thing to watch out for is the cord is not very long, but that is also what makes it fold up so small and travel so well.
I can't say anything bad about this product. I really love it, and it's been perfectly useful for me.

I bought this item specifically to expand my single outlet international adapter/converter. In countries that run on 220V instead of 110V, this product is a must. You will destroy any electrical device not designed for the voltage difference without a converter, but converters typically have only one outlet.
