These VisibleDust DSLR Swabs - Green Series are specially tailored for cleaning the delicate sensor in DSLR Cameras with a 1.3x sensor size range (20mm).
The ultra thin MXD-100 multi fiber fabric of the Green Series swabs has a patented folding design to create a softer edge (compared to a hot sealing process), and is designed to be compatible with a wide range of VisibleDust solutions including VDust Formula, Sensor Clean, and Smear Away. Because the MXD-100 fabric of the green series swabs is compatible with Sensor Clean, you can take advantage of the anti-fog and dust repellent properties of this special cleaning solution.
The patented mini-channel paddle, with contour, provides an even saturation of the paddles surface while preventing pooling and vertical flow at the edge. This reduces streaks associated with traditional flat surface paddles. The mini-channels also provide an extra reservoir to absorb any excessive liquid thereby prolonging the moisture life of the swab during the cleaning process.

Comments about Visible Dust Swabs for 1.3x Sensor - Green Series (12-Pack):
I find that the sensor brush works extremely well for almost all particles that get attached to my sensors, and I prefer it to wet-cleaning. Occasionally, a particle gets really stuck and cannot be removed with the electrostatically charge brush. I tried a pec pad with eclipse fluid, and was horrified at the amount of lint and particles that were left behind by that system. They were easy to remove with the sensor brush, but I still had those several sticky particles. The green-series sensor swab does the trick, and I highly recommend the combination of the sensor brush and then sensor swab if needed. The downside is that I find most Visible Dust products to be exceptionally expensive. Their sensor loupe is useless except to see only the largest of the particles on the sensor. For me, their arctic butterfly left smears, although others swear by them. Despite the expense (I have no local services in my small, isolated town, and I don't want to send the camera to Canon which often provides inconsistent results), I will continue to use and be happy with Visible Dust's sensor brush and sensor swabs.

I loved how easy this product was to use and it worked really. The only negative I have about this product is that it is a bit expensive. Given that thought it does work really well.

I sprayed my Leica M9 camera sensor with canned air and - guess what?! - apparently there was condensation in the propeller which came out in liquid form and left marks on the sensor. I ordered the swabs along with the Visible dust sensor cleaning solution and they didn't disappoint. Naturally, I was very nervous about cleaning the sensor, but I followed the instructions included with the product and after 3 tries, my sensor was spotless.

The product lived up to job. Very easy to use and did a good job on my dirty sensor that a blower or arctic butterfly were unable to handle on their own.A bit expensive considering what they are, probably [$] more than I think they should be, but they are gentle and wouldn't want to risk ruining a sensor by going cheap.

I like the build and feel of this product. It somehow feels better than the old sensor swabs. I did notice a bit of fiber debris from one swab however but a quick puff of air and it was gone.
