Comments about Bodelin Technologies ProScope 200x Lens:

Almost good enough for fiber analysis, but you really need the 400x lens to do a good job of that. Field of view is pretty small, so this lens is a bit high-powered for scanning/exploring a sample; 50x or 100x is faster. On the other hand, it might be handier than the 400x lens for quick fiber identification, since you see more of the sample in the field of view. It is probably best to just get the suite of 4 lenses (50x, 100x, 200x, and 400x) so that you can choose the best magnification for the task at hand.
The 1-10x zoom lens available for the ProScope is harder to justify, since your regular digital camera's macro feature probably covers that range at a higher resolution already.
