I needed this flat port for my 105VR Nikkor Lens and after testing it, I can say that it is just the perfect item. Easy to install; I feel that my photo gear is safe against leaks using this port.

I used this port with my 105 f/2.8G VR macro lens. It provides sharp, clear photos. However, it can be tricky putting it on the camera housing. There is very little room between the port and the lens.

No complaints about performance...no leaks and a clear lens was really all you need from this lens port. The only thing that this port might benefit from is a slightly larger barrel to allow for a manual focus ring attachment for more freedom with composition.
