Bought this item about a year ago and works great for allcards. I've used Smart Media, Compact Flash and SecureDigital in this reader. Works for everything except SecureDigital cards 2GB and larger. I just upgraded to a 2GB cardand it doesn't recognize it. Contacted Belkin tech supportand they said this unit is not compatible with the newer,higher capacity cards. Works for all others though.

Seems to work well, but doesn't seem to be constructed all that well. Very light, thin, and "plasticky". I know it's just a card reader, but, it seems like it could be easily "smashed".

Its hard to get excited over a card reader, but this one works well for my compact flash I and II cards. Otherwise, it failed on my mini 16gb flash, but worked on the 1 gb mini. Go figure. Will have to sort that out. East as sin to set up, almost no effort whatsoever.

This only worked for 2 weeks, and then was unable to be properly detected by my computer for use. After reloading software from provided disk multiple times, and a few calls to tech help, I gave up.

This card reader will not read all brands of Smart Media cards and will not read SD cards over 2GB. It also seems like it is made cheap and comes with a installation cd which is really stupid.

When I come back from an assignment I take my card from the camera, put it in the slot and it automatically launches the program to ingest. It is sooooo small. It almost gets lost on my desk. Love it.

Awesome. Takes most popular sizes. Extremely easy to use! Plug into
a USB outlet, put your card in and immediately, you are off and running.
I had previously bought another card reader from a local vendor which said
it was Mac & Windows compatible. I never did figure that out because I never got it to work on my Mac.
Many times I've purchased something that says it's Mac compatible only to find out that some of it is, some of it isn't. Come on now - get with the times. Recently bought a NikonD300 from B&H - works beautifully with the MAC. Love it.
