I puchased this to document the children's artwork at our after school program of the Inner-City Neighborhood Art Huse. This product is compact, easy to use and the results are professional. I wish it was a bit larger.

This product is not built sturdy enough for the average photographer to use. The bottom lip curls up into the field of view. Not recommended.
Only good feature is its portability.

Works exactly as advertised. Opens and closes in seconds and is easy to store.
It's a bit grainy if you're shooting jewelry but just add different material to change things up.
I've already completed my first jewelry job without a hitch.

I use this product to take pictures of my items for my online jewelry business. It produces a very nice background color in my photos. Even though the texture on my micro mode photos isn't as "smooth" as I would like, I am still very pleased with how well it makes my fine silver jewelry photos look. The construction is a bit stiff and the surface just isn't as flat as I'd hoped - it is definitely easier to use against a wall with umbrella lighting than trying to put it in a desktop photo tent or box, but I'm willing to work around those issues. As Jennifer P stated, the background is easy to extend with Photoshop when needed. I've spent time and $$ on other grey backgrounds and none have produced as true and consistent coloring as this background; I'd definitely buy it again.

A lot of money for a flexible plastic sheet with strings on the side. It worked okay for it's purpose but know that the width is the 19" and that can be a little narrow for shooting items.

I use this product to take pictures of my items for my retail business. The construction is simple and sturdy - and it works really well for my purpose. It works best against a wall -- it helps with stabilization (and to give a flat surface for your subject, but I've used it free standing as well -- the surface just isn't as flat. I wish it were a little wider, but the background is easy to extend with Photoshop when needed. This little board has saved me skads of time (and therefore $$), and I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I really could not be more pleased with this purchase.
