I mounted this item on mt Zeiss 6.5-20x50 Conquest rifle scope without tools and it performs as expected. My only issues are that it's quite expensive and the finish does not quite match the scope. Based on the cost of Zeiss scopes you would think they would inlcude a sunshade but they don't. I give the scope five stars and the accessory two stars.
