Comments about Chimera DVD: Lighting Faces, Volume 1:
I knew most of the inforamtion presented, but I learned a couple of very useful tricks for lighting black skin, bald heads, and glasses. It is better than some other videos on lighting, and the tricks I listed aren't in other videos. Although, I find Barry Green's videos on light and sound to be the best, so far.

Comments about Chimera DVD: Lighting Faces, Volume 1:
If you purchase the Lighting Faces DVD and regard it as a training exercise you are more likely to forgive the less than perfect quality of the production. If your intent is to learn about lighting faces, the DVD is a worthwhile purchase and a good investment in your increasing knowledge of lighing. I particuarly liked the inclusion of handling lighting of spectacles and black skin. As a stills photographer the DVD is valuable library addition.

Comments about Chimera DVD: Lighting Faces, Volume 1:
I've bought essentially all the DVD training (for lighting) available on B&H and this is the BEST (and it was produced in the mid-90'S)! Everything is still relevant!
Best DVD of the series. I've shot a lot of interviews myself and I'm sure my career will include many, many more. I knew a fair share of what was covered but the new techniques I picked up on have already been incorporated into the recent content I've been producing (with positive feedback from clients). What it comes down to is: if you put your education into practice, it should earn you well over the cost.
