We have found that these wireless presentation mice are very effective in the college classoom and laboratory. They fit the hand well when in use allowing the instructor to concentrate on the students and their understanding rather than the mechanics of minipulating the presentation. They are easy to carry in a pocket to class, very durable, and the batteries last long time. We have been providing them for all faculty in the department and have just purchased another for our newest hire.

We use the unit in conference rooms, so it is connected all the time. We needed something that was foolproof and easy to use. It is indeed easy to use. However, there is no off button on the device, so the battery life is terrible and we are continually having to replace the battery. If we used it for traveling and put the USB in the device, that turns it off, but that is not what we are doing.

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
We only use these at the Graduate School i work. The students and faculty find it easy to use and are always reliable. My only gripe with it is that I wish the laser came in different colors and I wish the laser was a bit more noticeable. Heads up, these don't work on TV screens. Very reliable product.

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
This presenter does what it's supposed to very well. I am amazed at the long distance permissible. At 80 feet it still works fine...haven't tested it further.
The laser pointer is a nice bonus.

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
This presenter is very easy to use... simply plug in to the usb and your set!
One of the nicest features is that the unit is turned off when you place the usb connector back into the unit after use. No more dead batterys to worry about.

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
This is still one of the best presenter remotes I've used. But I discovered that pressing the "laser" button sends an F5 keystroke to the USB receiver!
You won't ever notice this in PowerPoint, as F5 doesn't do anything.
But if your speaker switches out to a web browser, watch out! Every time she points, the page reloads!
Or a Word Document? Every time she points, the "Find & Replace" dialog box pops up!

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
This item should be simple and it should simply work. When making a presentation the last thing I want is technical complexity. I plugged it in. It worked. Left button goes back one slide, right button forward, top button is the laser and bottom button blanks the screen until pushed again. And, the shape of the thing feels great in my hand.

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
Bought one for my classroom, and now bought another for my wife for use at her preschool. This "PowerPoint clicker" does more than PPT--Prezi, Google Docs, any kind of presentation application where you want the ability to go forward or back a slide. With PPT, it also has the "blank" button, which blacks out the screen (equivalent of pressing "B" on keyboard). Superior RANGE--can walk all around my classroom. Best range of any clicker I've used. Don't need line of sight to click. Have even used it in a gym and an auditorium. Laser pointer could be brighter, but the main function is presentation clicking, which it does GREAT.

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
This is our 2nd Kensington remote (as we call it). We've had the first one for a number of years and all our Sales Reps LOVE using it. The fact that it works with any projector is great and the built-in laser pointer is terrific! We highly recommend this product!

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
We had to purchase some new presenters after the last usb receiver went missing. We were looking for a relatively inexpensive presenter with a built-in laser pointer and I figured who better to consider than Kensington. The presenter itself is a little on the chunky side, but I rather like how it fits in my hand. At our company we have some truly non-tech savvy people who need simple buttons, on-demand operation, and of course the laser pointer. My only wish would be for a "play" button like our last one had, but the fact that you can store the usb receiver IN the presenter makes it win out above all others.

We use projectors to do presentations and could not move slides back, we could only go forward. This allows us to advance and reverse slides. It works smoothly and responds fine when on stage and the laptop is off stage. Very happy!

I use these in my AV/Conference business because they are affordable (The receivers get stolen, most often by accident, quite regularly) and they work great. Nothing fancy about them, but they work very reliably.

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
Unit is ok but the buttons are spongey and not as responsive as I thought. The range calls for 60' but I had a little trouble from 40. You also have to make sure you don't cover the contact point which they put right where your hand goes. Poor design.

I am a teacher. I use this for power point presentations in lecture. It is great and easy to use. I really like the laser pointer too. The range is perfect for use all over my classroom. My students love it too when I allow them the use of it during their group presentations. It would be so much more trouble to teach without it.

I am a college professor and use the Kensington Wireless for use during lectures. It works perfectly, and allows me to roam the lecture hall talking, yet still having control over the computer. Unlike other Wireless Presenter's that are usually provided by the university, this is a little larger, is more sturdy, and fits more comfortably in my hand. Our department is now looking to buy one for every classroom in our building.

Comments about Kensington Wireless Presenter with Laser:
I've used a number of different remotes for scientific presentations, and this one is definitely my favorite. I find the button layout extremely intuitive so I never need to think about it or fiddle with it during a presentation, and it has just enough features (black/unblack screen, and the laser button also starts the slideshow).
For on-the-fly troubleshooting, the USB adapter has a tiny LED that lights up whenever it receives a signal from the remote.
There's a slight clicking from the buttons on the one I own, but a colleague has the same model and it doesn't click so maybe mine will "break in."
