Lightweight and solid. Never rattles. Folds up small enough for my backpack to carry. Quick release. Great materials, great parts and great engineering. No level.

Comments about Cullmann Alpha 2000 Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head:

I expected this tripod to be better constructed, ie metal instead of plastic head. Overall it works well in light applications. If you are considering changing the head, don't bother. You have to do some major modifications. The carrying case is nice but useless if the head is changed. If you are filming a soccer game or grandma's birthday, this will work great for you. If you want to use this as a professional tool in your arsenal, find something else. It just isn't heavy duty enough.

Comments about Cullmann Alpha 2000 Tripod with 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head:

this is our first tripod to go with a our first DSLR. It's very compact and lightweight which makes it portable and convenient to drag along. the carry bag was a nice extra that I was glad I didn't have to buy.

The connector plate that screws into the camera doesn't fit the Olympus camera we bought. It would be nice to know that the connector plates aren't universal. I can get it to work, but the tripod was obviously built for a different camera manufacturer.
