I was looking for connectors to replace the cheap connectors on my microphone cables. The connectors on my mic cables were very loose fitting, which kept me from getting a good connection after I touched the mic or adjusted the mic stand.
So I was looking for a tight fit that I wouldn't have to be hands off with my mic. I read a lot of reviews and was convinced enough to try these connectors.
I was 100% satisfied with these connectors. They fit my mic tightly, and was easy enough to fit to my cable. I bought two sets to try before I replaced all of my connectors, and have decided to go ahead and buy more to replace all my connectors on my cables with these.

You cannot get much better than this. The main improvement I noticed over the older FX model is how FXX terminals interface with each other. The FX model (Male) had a small hole through the housing where the latch on the female end attached to. Over time(and admittedly with heavy use), this hole would break off(rendering the locking system useless). These FXX terminals have done away with the hole and opted for a concealed notch instead, which provides much greater wear resistance, and no small sections that can break off.

I have been using Neutrik connectors for twenty years and would never consider anything else. This new model is somewhat smoother and less likely to get caught up when tearing down a show. I couldn't ask for more.

I purchased this so that we could add a microphone to our existing system. We already had the mic and the cable, the only thing that was missing was this connector to add the 2 together. This did the trick and the microphone sounded great.
