I'm very happy to have gone ahead and ordered this swatchbook. I like to project spots of colour on the background, mixing strobes and flashes, and I certainly have my pick with this great selection of colour filters.
Like others, I had to rig a way to keep the swatchbook together. I got from a local supplier a short (6''; 8'' would have been better) steel wire, fastened with male and female threaded tips, and voila, all is kept nice and tidy!
Gaffer tape is good enough to keep the filter secured on my flash.
All in all, best value for money I've found so far.

I used this just to have a variety of colors for indoor and outdoor pictures. But when I got it it came with so many options to play with!!!!!!!! Its insane. I love it though.

THE ONLY BAD THING I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THESE GELS is the fact that you have to cut them out of the bind. Just a small issue but not bad.

Bought these to experiment with color! Can't believe the number of choices - way more than i imagined and each is larger too. Each could be cut up to three times to fit my flash. They appear durable and are all attached to each other by a bind. Makes it easier to travel.

Amazing assortment of Rosco filters. The larger size is well worth the higher price point. A little bit of gaff, velcro, a rubber band, or even some sticky tack is all you need to secure these filters over larger sized speedlites. Fits the 580ex II beautifully.

I have mostly been using the color correction gels CTO 1/4, 1/2, and full and I have been very happy with them so far. The gels are much larger than the cheap / free books which means you can easily cut 2 to 4 gels (depending on flash head size) out of each sheet.

How cool is this? A swatchbook that's about 3" thick with all of the Rosco gels. It would be a great value if it only included the popular ones. These are the perfect size for speedlights - just tape them on. The only downside is that the data about each gel is inconsistent - some data sheets have more data than others. But no big deal - this is a steal.

I bought these for my stop motion animation projects and it's one of the best bangs for bucks I've made.
There are so many colors and tones that I will never run out of lighting options. The size of the swatches is perfect as they stick right on to my Microbeam 128 LED light with static electricity alone. I highly recommend this product for anyone working on a smaller scale.

There are a lot of choices in this little book. The first section which is about 15% of the gels, are geared toward color correction, white balance matching, etc... the last section, about 5% of the whole thing, is filled with diffusers and the like. The middle section contains more colors than I'll ever know what to do with!

I can easily cut 3, possibly 4 individual gels out of each page of this book to fit on my LumoPro 160s. This product is an amazing value, everyone with a flash should have something along these lines.

I wasn't exactly sure what to expect - wasn't disappointed. There are a lot of gels in this pack - different densities of many different colors. Can be cut to fit speedlights, three or even four from each swatch.

I got these to diffuse the lights from my local hardware store. Very cost-effective.

The larger swatches make it much easier to compare the colors and hold up to light.

I used this product to help make a simple little theatrical light lab. The swatches are big enough to cut down to the size of my Par 16's.

Now I can see any of the gel colors projected from an actual lighting fixture before buying sheets of gel for a production! I can also see how different colors interact with each other using the different lights.

I use these gels to temp match my off camera strobes to tungsten, fluorescent, and different daylight intensities.. great thing is I was able to get about 3 gels per sheet supplied for my flash heads. In addition there were more than enough colors available for unique effects for lighting backdrops. Would definitely recommend this to any strobist out there.

This feels silly to review a bunch of gels -- but for the price and for what I need, they are perfect. I have more than I will need and so, so much less expensive than using Nikons.

Perfect for use on speedlight flashes for temperature correction as well as adding some touches of color. Bigger size gives you more material to work with and ensures you're covering the entire head.
