pretty useful when people are sitting next to you, but doesn't work if someone is sitting behind you. you can increase the effectiveness by dimming the screen a bit, but does strain your eyes a bit if you dim too much.

Did not help at all with the Macbook Pro 15". I bought it and the negative reviews were right. i didnt think it would be that bad, but you have to be at almost a 145 degree angle not to be able to see what is on the screen. The way it goes on your screen blows really big ones too. i wish someone had told me that there are tabs that stick onto your screen and the film slides in behind the tabs. screwed up my glass screen on my MBP.
