Overview
  • 1Description

A powerful, versatile amplifier created especially for electronic drums, the PM-30 Drum Monitor Amplifier from Roland features three separate Class-D power amplifiers, a 12" woofer with subwoofer mode, and two satellite speakers that can be mounted either on your drum stand or on the crossbar of the amp.

Multiple inputs and outputs make it easy to connect this amp to the PA for larger gigs. The three-band EQ and Punch feature help you cut through the mix. And when the gig's over, the side handles, top crossbar, and casters make transport easy.

The PM-30 is tuned specifically for Roland's V-Drum series, and there's a dedicated stereo input for the V-Drums module's headphone output. But whatever percussion set-up you use it with, this is a flexible and effective means of making sure your carefully crafted sound gets to the audience the way you intended.

2.1 Channels
The PM-30 is composed of a main unit that houses the three amps (each channel has its own amp, for a total of 200 watts of power), the 12" woofer, the 3" tweeter, and two 4" satellite units. The woofer is switchable between full-range and subwoofer modes, and all three channels are independently controlled. A three-band EQ affects all channels equally. This configuration yields powerful sound that can be tailored to any musical style or application.
Mounting Bar
The main unit has a sturdy metal bar running across the top. Not only is this convenient for transport, but the satellite units can be attached to the crossbar, saving space on your drum stand and allowing you to direct your sound out to the audience. All mounting hardware is provided.
Versatile I/O
Besides the outputs for the satellite speakers, there are two other stereo pairs of output jacks. Three inputs let you play along with external sources. This versatility makes the PM-30 effective in contexts ranging from rehearsals to large gigs.
