Thank you, Rode.
This is a very needy pocket bag to carry one of the most vulnerable thing in film-making, the precious soundhunter. Very cheap and perfect.

Bag is too small for a 10' boom pole to be put inside with mic, cables and wombat attached. It simply won't zip up. And don't even think about having one of the pole sections anything other than collapsed when you're trying to travel.
It's a soft case, so I should have figured it wouldn't protect too well, but traveling with this thing is asking for trouble. I take my rig apart (pole, mic, softie, cables etc.), because just one piece of gear gets set on this, and you're asking for a cracked mount or a dented mic, etc.

This bag is great to hold your boom pole and even a few XLR cables.

Good quality. nice zipper, cushioned sides. Bag is long enough to fit 10' boom pole with microphone attached. Or just pole with pole cradle and adjustable grip. Inside pocket is good for a Zoom recorder or something small like that.

I thought the idea of this bag was to carry your pole/blimp/mic all setup and ready to roll. Not so, the only thing this will hold is the pole with everything off. Not very useful. After wrestling with this one, I think you need something around 40 inches if you want to be able to just toss your setup in a bag and go.

I use this to safely transport my boom pole and wind protector. For short stints where it stays on my person, it can accomodate the mic without disconnecting from the pole.

NIce carrying bag, but could use more pockets and better padding if you're putting an expensive shotgun mic inside.

I bought this bag and I was under the impression, based on the picture, that it would hold my rode blimp and boom pole, but the bag is simply not big enough to hold the blimp. (with or without the pole attached). I guess this is just a bag for the pole itself?

Contains the boom pole well. It is a little unusual shape and unique to carry but it does a good job plus it has extra room inside to carry cables, etc...

It's nice to have your boom ready to go, especially when you're on the move a lot during a shoot and you find yourself needing to carry multiple things. I just wish there were additional pockets, but overall it's nice to have.

I have the mini boom pole from RODE and this bag. I used it only for the boom-pole carrying. The bag is not designed for fitting the rode blimp in it so you have to use it only for the mini boompole

What can I say, it's a nice bag! Quality construction, zipper is nice and strong.
I would have liked a little more padding in the bag, but at this price you can't beat it!
