The Epson Duet Ultra Portable Projector Screen is the first portable projection screen to offer both video standard (4:3) and HDTV (16:9) formats.
This lightweight and completely portable screen offers a solution to the user that no other portable projection screen on the market can deliver. Imagine being able to "tweak" the aspect ratio of your presentation without wiring or additional fuss. Whether for business or personal use, this screen offers you the best of both projection worlds.
The screen comes with a floor stand and a bracket (with anchors) for wall projection. All that you need to do is pull the screen out to whichever dimension you require - 65" for video viewing or 80" for HDTV viewing. When your presentation is over, simply collapse the screen back to its storage position and you're ready to go.
With the innovative, patent-pending design, setup couldn't be easier. In no time at all, you'll be ready to sit back and enjoy brilliant images on a bright white screen.

Pros:
The fact that it folds up so well is great compared to its impressive 80" unfolded screen size. The tripod fitting into the screen case is a plus for car storage. This screen is great for business meetings or something you need to set up for a demo where you aren't worried about great picture quality. It's great when you just need to "get something up on the screen".
Cons:
This is not a good screen to watch movies or play games on. The problem with the screen is that it isn't engineered well when it comes to picture quality. All of the screens get two lines down the middle that runs the whole verticle length of the screen where the rollers sit when it's in storage. You DO see them (without "trying" to look for them as other reviewers have stated). They are visible any time the picture you're projecting is white or near white. They aren't visible in dark scenes. If this is going to bother you, don't bother ordering it... you aren't going to get one without the lines. It's a design flaw present in every single one they sell.
The other issue, as mentioned by countless others, is the curling at the top and bottom of the screen. When it's fully extended in 16x9 mode, you get screen curling at the top and at the bottom. If someone here tries to tell you that you don't notice it, that's not the case, you will notice it. It's most noticiable when you use a PC with your projector. When you watch a movie, any time there is a scene with straight objects near the edge of the picture, you will notice it. If picture distortion at the edges of what you're watching bothers you, don't order this, it will drive you crazy.
It's too bad they they didn'g just engineer it a tiny bit more to take up the slack on those two issue. I don't see how hard it would have been to add some type of support at the two places it curls. There is literally nothing behind the curl spots and the roller springs aren't strong enough to keep it tight.
What a shame. It's a good product that could have been great if they would have put a little bit more thought into it.

Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
I teach all over and found that this is the best screen to have. Folds to an easy size to cary in you car. Light weight, Bright display. The price is great and it makes my job easy. If you need to take a screen with because all the place has is a messy old wall you will love this. Does not matter if you are just starting out or not the ease of use is GREAT.

Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
Bought the screen to use for mobile presentations to civic groups. Seems sturdily built and is very portable. Screen reflectivity is good. Screen has a couple apparently permanent vertical bends (storage generated) near the center. Left the screen open 2 days and they did not relax. Have not tried a heat gun yet. Bends are noticeable during presentations but not a deal killer. Will keep screen.

Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
The screen rolls up ingeniously into a cylinder about 42" on to which folding legs are stored. The whole assembly is about 42" x 9" x 7" and has a handle, so it is easy to transport. When it is deployed, the legs fasten to the end of the cylinder and the screen unrolls to standard screen and then to wide screen, which is about 42" x 80". The quality of the screen is excellent. For the price this screen is a great value.
Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
This is a real handy screen. I put on photography workshops and the screen fits perfectly in one of my light stand bags for airline travel. Screen sets up and tears down quickly and easily. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't go very high. You are really limited as to how high you can put it. I have had people standing in the back because it was too low for them to see. They should make an extension pole that you could place on top of the stand to connect to the screen. SHould be easy to do.

Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
I use this for presentations and lectures in a small group setting. The design concept is excellent. Very convenient and fast set-up and breakdown. The workmanship and finish are excellent. Though this a lot lighter than what I used before, I wish they could make it much lighter. A black canvas or ballistic nylon case would be a great addition. The height of the provided stand is not adjustable.
Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
I have to be completely portable with my trainings, and this screen is a dream! It is so easy to fit in the car, through doors, and in small training areas because it is so compact. It is also extremely easy to set up and tear down without pinching fingers or fighting with a retracting screen. I love this. My only complaint is that I can't find a nylon bag to protect the integrated carrying case. It does scratch easily when set down on the floor, sliding it in/out of the car, etc., and I like all my equipment to look professional and well-cared-for.
Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
Just received the Duet Ultra Portable Projector Screen and it lives up to my expectations. It is very sturdy and adjustable to various screen sizes. The only negative is that it's fairly heavy.
Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
I would recommend this product. Portable, easy to assemble, and very handy for showing movies to small groups. We were also able to strap it to roof beams at my church to give it better elevation. So my biggest drawback is the extension of the legs. Could do with at least an additional 6 inches to 1 foot
Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
REally simple to set up and works great. I was wanting to avoid tripod stands because of previous experiences with flimsy stands. The stand with this screen is substantial and tough. Setting up is easy. Whole thing is a bit heavy but my Epson projector is light and my MacbookPro is light so not a big deal. Setting it up the first time was a snap. Will certainly be handy to take to programs and classes I teach on photography.
Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
With such an affordable price my expectations were not too high. I was expecting it to be light weight and flimsy. I was pleasantly surprised and happy with the quality of this screen. very solid and compact and easy to transport. I did read the instructions on how to set it up but it was so easy and obvious I could have accomplished the task with no written instructions. I bought an Epson projector first and love the quality - I'm now a loyal Epson customer for life!
Comments about Epson Duet Ultra Portable Tripod Projector Screen:
It is very sturdy and easy to use. It is a little heavier than I expected, but I can trade off the weight for the sturdiness of the product. It was really easy to use, and handy to switch between wide screen and standard. I use the standard for PowerPoint presentations and will use the widescreen for multimedia pieces and movie clips.
