Netgear ProSafe 16-Port Gigabit Rackmount Switch
The ProSafe 16-Port Gigabit Rackmount Switch from Netgear is a 16-port Ethernet switch that can operate at speeds of up to 2000 Mbps in full-duplex mode. The switch features Store and Forward packet switching and Auto Uplink ports for automatic MDI/MDI-X detection. The switch features a professional rackmount form factor, making it an excellent addition to your network.
- Full Duplex Support
- The switch not only supports standard 10/100/1000 Mbps devices in half-duplex mode, but is also capable of speeds of up to 2000 Mbps in full-duplex mode. This makes the switch an excellent option for use in networks where data transfer bandwidth is crucial.
- Autosensing MDI/MDI-X Ports
- Every port on the switch is autosensing MDI/MDI-X, so you won't have to worry about switching between standard Ethernet and crossover cables when configuring your network.
- Rackmount Design
- The switch is housed in a sturdy form factor and includes a kit for rackmounting. This allows you to easily add it to a professional network via an equipment rack.

We installed the gigabit switch into our recording truck, to provide hi speed internet access to our clients and crews, and stream HD broadcasts. Unit was very easy to install and integrate into our current IT configuration. Rackmounting was a major plus in choosing this unit.
