Comments about Netgear ProSafe 8-Port 10/100 Switch with 4-Port PoE:
We were designing an IT security video survellance system and needed Power Over Ethernet for the cameras. This was perfect, we have only 4 cameras and 100MB is fine for 4 cameras at a low-frame rate. If you go with many more cameras or a higher frame-rate, you'll need to look at a gigabit ethernet model.

Comments about Netgear ProSafe 8-Port 10/100 Switch with 4-Port PoE:
I needed a POE switch for some network cameras I was installing in my warehouse. After searching extensively for POE solutions I decided on this one because I already have and use other ProSafe switches and firewalls, and have had great results for the more than reasonable price. And the LIFETIME warranty is icing on the cake

Comments about Netgear ProSafe 8-Port 10/100 Switch with 4-Port PoE:
I needed a cheap POE switch to power up a piece of medical equipment. Was seamless to set up and use... and got a great price from B&H!
