Comments about LensCoat Lens Cover for the Canon Extender Set EF II (Realtree Max4 HD):

Besides the camofloge effect, the neopreme is what I needed for my lense extenders to give them more protection in case of a hard bump.

        Does it's job, but...

Comments about LensCoat Lens Cover for the Canon Extender Set EF II (Realtree Max4 HD):

Good: Does the job nicely.Less good: Very pricy for what you get. You can get a coat for a 800/5.6 for $100 which has considerably more material and cutting effort, but this one is [$] Maybe $20 would be more appropriate as folks would also buy a coat for the lens to use the extender with. Also would like to see some waterproof materials being used instead of water-absorbing neoprene. Also would like to see this kit separated. I need to buy two to make a lenscoat for 2 1.4x extenders?

Comments about LensCoat Lens Cover for the Canon Extender Set EF II (Realtree Max4 HD):

Hmmm... Comments about how I use the product... I put the darn thing over my tele extender to match the neat camo on my lens and to guard against nicks and scratches. Like the LensCoat for my lens, you pull it on like a pair of tight underwear. It breaks up the outline of the lens with a Realtree pattern or several other schemes. Definitely quality construction with easy to understand directions.

Comments about LensCoat Lens Cover for the Canon Extender Set EF II (Realtree Max4 HD):

Not much to say about the covers; the patterns are great, they install easily and fit okay. There is some size variation between individual productions (owned the Forest Camo set before) and the current cover for 1.4x is pretty skimpy when installed. In addition, with time the neoprene starts to gather lint from rubbing in the bag. Overall, I recommend this product to visually break up the shape of gear and protect it from dings.
