The lamp is made by Optoma so there was no issue on it fitting or working properly. From start to finish, the complete installation process took about 2 minutes. I was watching a movie within 5 minutes. I've only got about 10 hours on this lamp to date, but in that time it has functioned flawlessly. I will not hesitate to order this lamp again. It arrived well-packaged and a few days ahead of schedule.

This is the second replacement lamp I have purchased from B&H. B&H has the cheapest price on this lamp PERIOD. If you find it cheaper somewhere else it is a knockoff brand which is inferior in quality. Do you really want to lose 500-1000 hours of bulb life to save ten bucks? B&H ships a factory sealed lamp from Optoma. Don't accept imitations, [...]

Two days before Thanksgiving, the original lamp in my projector expires. One of my family's traditions is to watch football and movies in my home theater after eating turkey. I frantically called B & H for a replacement. I was informed by an extremely calm and cool salesman that he had the bulb in stock and would have it over-nighted to me...no problem. Yep, next day the lamp arrives and it couldn't be easier to install. It included the carrier and was an identical match to my factory lamp. A couple of screws, a firm pull on the handle, and in 20 minutes the entire job is done. Like I said, B& H saved Thanksgiving. (BTW, remember to NOT use ANY compressed air to clean inside the projo. It will blow the dust onto the image plate and you will get specks projected onto your screen. Vacuum only!)
