Comments about PSM1 Shock Mount for Rode Podcaster Microphone:
A great shock mount for anyone using the Rode Procaster or Podcaster. Works very well with desk stands such as the Atlas Sound DS7E. I've only owned this shock mount for a couple of weeks so I can't speak to longevity. But it seems to be well constructed (as Rode products are).

This mount is a solid holder for Rode Podcaster or Procaster mics. Built well and very solid. Much better than cheap mounts provided with many low-cost mics.

Comments about PSM1 Shock Mount for Rode Podcaster Microphone:
if you've got the rode procaster, don't take any chances with a flimsy shock mount. this mic is heavy and deserves a quality companion.

Comments about PSM1 Shock Mount for Rode Podcaster Microphone:
This shockmount sure beats the plastic stock shockmount that comes with my Rode K2. It fits my K2 perfectly and looks amazing as well. It is heavy and well constructed...this thing is built to last

Comments about PSM1 Shock Mount for Rode Podcaster Microphone:
I use this with the rode procaster. it's the shock mount that will fit it as it a very bulky mic.
The shock mount is very good at isolating the mic. It also adds a good amount of weight to an already bulky mic. This is good because the rode retractable studio arm I am using with the combo needs weight to counteract its rather heavy spring action.

Comments about PSM1 Shock Mount for Rode Podcaster Microphone:
I had a hard time trying to decide whether or not to get a shockmount for my Rode Podcaster. I ended up getting it and have not looked back. I feel that it significantly reduced exterior noise and vibrations caused by movement while I record in not-to-great conditions. A necessity especially if you are going to record standing up.

Comments about PSM1 Shock Mount for Rode Podcaster Microphone:
I got my PSM1 shockmount about a month ago. First thing I noticed about it was how solidly built and how heavy for its size it was. I'm very impressed with it. It is a very good quality product.
