This is a Bowens 32" Reflector Disc. It has a silver, and a gold side. Silver increases specular highlights and yields a high-contrast, cool tone image. Gold has a sunset effect and warms the scene producing healthy looking skin tones.

Easy to use! Just add some light from the sun or a studiolight and reflect it to the other side of your motive to get a wellbalanced light to your scene. Use the silver side to reflect your studioflashes and the golden side when shooting outdoors in the sun. Using an assistent to hold it or a lightstand with a discholder makes it even easier. Takes some practise to fold together, but once you learn the trick, it´s an easy pick!

I use this product for my photography business i just started up. It's a great starter purchase to hide the sun and reflect it in darker areas! :] It's so great because it collapses into this tiny carrier that fits perfect wherever you are going. I can't really think about anything that is wrong with it besides maybe making it fold back down to its tiny size lol. Just a couple twists and you got it though! i love this product and recommend it to experienced or starters of photography!

After reviewing a number of products and reading a review or two, I purchased this Bowen product. It resolved the two problems I was encountering and gave my subjects a warmer tonal quality. It springs open very quickly. Can be a little warmer than necessary but gets the job done.

Pros: Very handy size to use. Fits perfectly in the laptop compartment of my Tamrac Camera backpack.
Cons: I feel like I've got two left hands trying to get it folded back up and back into the carry case. lol.
