The B+W Push-On Lens Cap #300 model is their 'standard' unit, and has a slightly convex front surface to prevent the inside of the cap from touching the glass of your lens when it is tucked away in a bag. The sides are their 'standard' depth, to fit on normal lens barrels or standard-style filters, and this particular unit has a 30mm inner diameter.
B+W also makes a 'shallow' sides model, the #305 model, to fit on slim filters, and a more common snap-on cap.
It isn't an exact science due to all the variables involved, but generally a push-on cap that is 2-3mm larger than the lens' filter size fits just right.

Comments about B+W #300 30mm Push-On Lens Cap:
I needed this lens cap for an unusual C-mount filter holder that had a diameter of 30 mm. It fit very nicely and does a good job of protecting my filter. The price seemed a bit steep since it is just a thin plastic cap. I guess it is hard to sell anything for less than a couple of dollars via the web - it will be interesting to see if it lasts a while.

Comments about B+W #300 30mm Push-On Lens Cap:
I ordered this B+W #300 30mm Push-on Lens Cap for my B+W 30mm UV HMC Filter (both the same brand). It turns out that the lens cap was about 2mm too small. I measured the inside diameter of the "30mm" lens cap and it is about 29.5mm. I measured the 30mm filter with a caliper and its outside diameter is 32mm (though the thread is 30mm). How odd! Now I have to order another cap, the 32mm, and see if it fits and if it gets here on time for the job.
