Comments about Snap Sights SS04 Underwater Camera:

I take it to the beach every year, where it spends most of the week, in ocean water and sand. Easy to use (duh! Just click away), hand/wrist strap good for rough water and easy to seal the water tight case. What I did have trouble with was loading film and if I just got outside from a very cool air conditioned beach house to the beaches of South Carolina then it would have some condensation on the lens. But after an hour or so it would go away. The deepest it has been was 13 feet of pool water. Really happy with this little camera and the shots I've got.

bought mine 3 years ago, abused it every year since while on vacation! 400 speed film worked best, get about 5' away and try to stay at about 5' depth so it gets enought light. Did not leak even up to 30' very easy to work

The button was hard to push to take the picture. The blue of the water washed out the color of the fish and the detail of the coral. Out of the water the pictures were great.

Comments about Snap Sights SS04 Underwater Camera:

The plastic casing was easily scrached up, rendering it useless to photo through. In addition, moisture got inside (despite my never having opened the case) and fogged up the lens when I wanted to use the thing. It was only [$]but still a waste of money. Even after opening it up to throw away the waterproof case and just use the plastic camera for my daughter, it was so cheap, it was hard for her to use. Too bad - seemed like the perfect solution when I bought it....
