Comments about Comprehensive FireWire 4-pin to 4-pin Cable - 75' (22.86 m):
I ordered this cable to allow me to stretch out my camera that I use for Broadcast NCAA Basketball. The durability of this cable is great and the heavy wear and tear is extreme and the cable holds up great!!! I will soon be expanding and ordering more.

We've had zero problems with this cable, using it for recording golf swings for instruction purposes.

Comments about Comprehensive FireWire 4-pin to 4-pin Cable - 75' (22.86 m):
Useful for connecting a camera used in a live video feed situation in theater. Was hard to get it to work with the new Firewire 800 on a mac since adapters for firewire don't really work (more of an issue with the Mac though)
Seems more durable than many firewire cables (time will tell) and has little to no noticeable signal loss.
I would not use it for anything that could use a shorter cable though such as simple video capture from tape to computer.

Comments about Comprehensive FireWire 4-pin to 4-pin Cable - 75' (22.86 m):
I use this cable to connect my XL1s to my laptop to capture video in avi format using Premiere's OL program aka DV Rack. This eliminates the lengthy cumbersome capturing process. It's my interim step before I can afford to go completely tapeless. The 75' cable allows us ample length to move the camera since the camera is tethered to the laptop. This cable is well insulated and sturdy. Most important, we've had no drop off in the quality of the picture at 75'.
