Pretty easy to set up, however the instruction manual could be a bit more detailed. No problem after watching a Youtube video to install.

the mount does the trick for me. it has plenty
of screws to mount the projector (universal), although it fails to come with some tightening bolts to mount on a ceiling, wall etc. you'll also need
some decent tools to tighten everything once setpup is complete. not impossible, just helps to have an extra hand and tools. for the price it's good quality.

Have a Optoma HD33 mounted. Took a little time to get center of gravity determined. Little tough to make adjustments once mounted. Overall it is structurally solid, but slightly difficult to make minor adjustments when mounted. Would recommend at the price.

This was easy to install once you figure out how everything fits together. There aren't really any instructions. I used to toggle anchors and two washers to attach it to the ceiling. I would suggest to someone looking to buy an affordable mount.

This mount is really sturdy, low profile and looks great. The tiny box worried me at first but they crammed enough bits and pieces in there to mount any projector. There are absolutely no usable instructions but if you just look at it for awhile you'll figure it out. Try and determine the centre of gravity for whichever projector you are mounting (mine was the Panny 100 U) so you can position the centre of the mount there and then adjust the arms. Had it out of the box and the projector mounted in 20 minutes.

This projector mount is solidly made, but may have been designed a little better. I had to turn the entire mount around, otherwise it was aiming at the ceiliing. Now it is aiming at my screen. If I did not need it to spin, I would have remade the entire quick release bracket so it would not feel so loose- it has a lot of play. The quick release bracket is L shaped, the bottom having two forks that holds the rest of the mount, allowing it to spin. But this only holds half of it, causing it to sit at a slight angle. A bolt holds the L bracket in place.
It still needs some fine tuning, but I may have to take the whole thing down, adjust it, and hang it up agian. It's just a matter of how picky I want to be.
Also note that it is not desinged for drop in tile ceiling, but for a hard ceiling. Or bolt it to a piece of ply-wood and put that in the ceiling grid, which is what I did.

This mount arrived mostly assembled, it has MANY parts. It took about half an hour to configure it to work with my projector, it was a little tricky getting it just right. The cost cannot be beat, the mount that is designed for my prohector by its manufacturer cost 10 times more than I paid for this one. This mount works great and the price was right.

I bought a ceiling mount from a company I had never heard of with no reviews
5 years ago for my Sony vw50. Absolutely the worst mount possible. Adjustment was done by wingnuts, it was impossible to torque them down enough to keep the projector from moving if it got bumped by mistake (or when cleaning)

Bought a new lj projector with different a different mounting pattern so was finally able to justify picking up a new mount. Came across this universal mount. For the awesome price, figured it couldn't hurt. Good reviews and I love B&H so I bought it. 1000% better then my old mount.

It came with everything I needed to get the mount attached to my projector quickly and painlessly. It does NOT come with screws to mount to.the ceiling. Given the somewhat vast variety of surfaces it could be installed in, I completely understand. Luckily I was able to reuse the bolts I installed for the old mount. I can understand people having some issue with the manual, its not very well written. Expect to read it two or three times to ensure you didn't miss something.

This is not a super high end mount. People looking for a oem spec from the likes of the $600 Sony will find no built level. No tool less adjustment, No one button release for maintenance. What you get is an easy to use mount that is very inexpensive that will do its job perfectly.

This is our second mount. Works great! Not great instructions, but pretty straight forward once you get started.

Super easy to install and works great with our projector. If there isn't a specific mount for your projector this one is great. I am guessing it will work with almost any projector.

Easy enough to install - but could have used longer brackets to connect to projector. Couldn't really mount at center of gravity.

Had to change out the legs several time to match to screw holes. No mounting screws for ceiling I found. Sturdy when attached. Universal screws included for all size holes.

I needed to replace an old projector with a new one and bought this mount to hang the new projector. The directions are written in typical fashion, that is by a non-native English language speaker. But the process is self-explanatory and I had it assembled in short order. Extra parts and hardware were included to account for any situation found. I had to choose which arms to use to fit my new projector and find the center of gravity for it. This was more art than science. Attaching to the ceiling was easy enough and the mount and projector were light enough to be put up without someone else assisting. I have seen better arm arangements on other mounts but the Mustang ended up doing the job just fine. The wrenches provided for adjustment were useful though in some instances I could have used more torque. All in all, well worth the price paid for it. Would purchase again if another is ever needed.
