Borrowed from the video industry, this feature makes it possible to move the camera smoothly while framing the picture, as it helps to balance some of the camera's weight. It´s really not the cheapest, but when it comes to tripods you have to consider one that is firm, and this one is for sure. Light weight, you can carry almost anywhere using a backpack. It can handle 5 kilos wich is really nice, and it´s a manfrotto, What else can I say? If you´re searious about tripods try this one, you´ll never regret.
