Comments about Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Paper (4 x 6", 30 Sheets):

The Hahnemuhle photo rag 4x6 paper has a heavy weight, and smooth velvet texture. It's a great high-quality alternative paper for fine art prints.

One important thing missing the paper's description is it's rounded corners. I was expecting sharp corners like other paper, and was surprised that these were rounded. The rounded corners make the prints looks good by themselves, but could pose a problem if trying to mount or frame the print.

Comments about Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Paper (4 x 6", 30 Sheets):

Prints made with this paper were satisfactory. But there are other papers available from B&H at a much lower price which produce equally satisfactory results. In evaluating a photographic paper today the real question is whether there are other papers available that produce a superior result or which produce the same result but at a lower price. To answer that question I bought seven different papers (4"x6" size) from B&H, including this paper. The papers that I purchased and the price per sheet (4"x6" size) are as follows: Hahnemuhle Fine Art Pearl Paper ([$]¢); Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Paper ([$]¢); Ilford Galerie Professional Inkjet Smooth Gloss ([$]¢); Canon Photo Paper Pro II ([$]¢); Canon Photo Paper Pro (Platinum ([$]¢); Inkpress Duo Matte 44 Photo Paper Matte ([$]¢); Canon Photo Paper Plus Glossy II ([$]¢).I then printed the same photograph on the same printer on each of these seven papers. I let the photos dry. The next day I examined the seven prints and invited two friends to look at the prints. Neither I nor either of my friends saw any difference in quality when carefully comparing the prints. Some brands were heavier than others- but so what. This Hahnemuhle paper cost 53¢ a sheet. The Inkpress Duo Matte cost [$]¢ a sheet. In again examining the prints that I made on each of these sheets one can not see any difference. In addition you can print on either side of the Inkpress paper so that (unlike the Hahnemuhle paper) you don't have to struggle to see that you are printing on the correct side of the paper. To be repetitious- in conclusion the Hahnemuhle paper is overpriced. There are other papers available from B&H at a much lower price that produce equally satisfactory results.
