Comments about Behringer Digital Delay DD400:

It does its job but gives a few problems with the settings. I've read other reviews about it going out after a few couple years but that's no problem since I will replace it eventually to something with better quality. Overall, it's a good pedal to start experimenting with but nothing too long term.

Comments about Behringer Digital Delay DD400:

As Behringer products get very mixed reviews, I hesitated before getting the DD400 delay pedal. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. This pedal does everything I wanted and expected from a digital delay, plus a few things I didn't know about.

I play mostly trad Irish, plus blues and rock, on an electric octave mandolin, and am exploring effects pedals. Thus, I'm not in a hurry to spend a lot until I know what sounds I want, and which ones work for me. This pedal is perfect. The delay goes from a nice short slap-back, almost a reverb, to nice mid-range delays a la U2, to insane long delays. And the Hold is almost like a short loop pedal. The sound is clean, as is the bypass, with maybe a hint of hiss. Maybe.

The case is plastic, and I doubt that it would stand up to heavy gigging. but for me, playing at home or the occasional gig, this does quite nicely.

Comments about Behringer Digital Delay DD400:

The price was very good, but I got what I paid for. The quality of the echo delay is very low, just like the price. It sounds very stiff and artificial.

Difficult if not near impossible to adjust for good slap-back sound required for Rockabilly music.

I would not recommend this pedal to anyone.
