Behringer UM300 Ultra Metal Distortion Pedal

You Pay: $24.99

The Behringer UM300 Ultra Metal Distortion Pedal takes distortion beyond any reasonable level into nuclear-powered high-gain insanity. To apply some measure of control over the madness, the three-band EQ is augmented with a mid-frequency knob that lets you move the peak of the mid boost (or mid cut) up and down the frequency spectrum, emphasizing the exact range that fits your playing best.

First-class electronics and quality construction yield noise-free operation and excellent signal integrity. The Ultra Metal satisfies red-meat metal players at an affordable price.

High-Gain Scream
This is not a subtle "overdrive" pedal with limits on how much gain can be applied. This is the pedal for when you want strings to shred and ears to bleed. Turn it up to 11!
Variable Mid Peak
The mid-frequency control lets you apply the high gain of the UM300 in many different ways. Scoop out the low-mids for a metal-prodigy sound, or dial back the gain and boost the high-mids for an overdriven country-rock twang.
Sizzling Sustain
The higher you jack up the gain, the more sustain you can squeeze out of each note.

Comments about Behringer UM300 Ultra Metal Distortion Pedal:

Use for practice on my new guitar.
Nice size, many options and adjustments to customize sound.
Battery replacement removal could be better. I use an 1/8 mini plug to push the pins in to remove battery cover. Using a pen is not as good.

Comments about Behringer UM300 Ultra Metal Distortion Pedal:

The UM300 so far have worked for me, for practice sessions and my gala nights. So far the compact design and quality of the distortion have been sufficient in perspective. The only down side I've seen is the color of the equipment, I did got some heckle out of it. Over all, pretty much a good switching and quality sound.
