Behringer PMP1000 - 12 Channel Audio Mixer with 500 Watt Internal Amplifier and 24-Bit Effects Processor
The Behringer PMP1000 is a 12-channel audio mixer and integrated 500 watt power amplifier with built-in, 24-bit effects processor. The PMP1000 is designed as an all-in-one audio mixing solution for small venues, touring musicians, solo musicians, school auditoriums, houses-of-worship and portable sound reinforcement applications.
The intuitive and efficient PMP1000 is feature packed with eight channels of balanced XLR microphone and 1/4" phone line input connections, 3-band EQ, effects level control and send level. The remaining four inputs (9/10 & 11/12) feature stereo paired 1/4" phone line inputs for keyboards, player/recorders and other stereo line devices.
A seven-band graphic EQ section provides final frequency contouring of audio at the main output. Behringer's FBQ feedback detection system reveals problem frequency bands that may cause feedback and allows users to adjust them. The PMP1000 is a lightweight, portable mixing solution for musicians, and presenters on-the-go.
- 500 Watt Power Amplifier
- Internal 500 watt power amplifier will drive loud speakers directly from the unit. The amplifier provides 250 watts per channel in stereo and 500 watts when bridged mono.
- 12 Total Input Channels
- The PMP1000 features eight mono inputs with balanced XLR microphone and 1/4" phone line inputs. Channels 9/10 & 11/12 are stereo paired with 1/4" phone line inputs for keyboards and stereo line devices.
- 24 Bit Effects Processor
- Internal 24-bit effects processor provide 100 preset effects including delay, chorus, reverb, flanger, phaser, etc.
- Seven Band Graphic EQ
- A seven-band graphic EQ section provides frequency contouring on output. Behringer's FBQ feedback detection reveals frequencies that may cause feedback and allows users to make EQ adjustments.
- Portable Design
- The lightweight PMP1000 features rugged construction and built-in handle for easy portability.

I changed the microphones and changed speakers but the sound ramains the same. It has lot of controles, may be good for prfessional recording. I do not recomend this unit for live performences.

I bought this for indoor and outdoor activities but the sound is low. The sound is only good for small rooms (28x21). I changed microphones and speakers but the sound remains the same. Great thing about it, is that it is easy and simple to use. I do not recommend this unit for live performance or outdoor activities.

I needed a compact, powered mixer for 2-4 musician acoustic coffeeshop venues, and this one completely fit the bill. I have worked with many high-end boards that do not have all the features this one has. It seems like this product was designed by people who perform and know what is required. Just keep in mind, you are not going to get 'thumping' power from the installed amp, but it is just enough to give you good, clean projection in small settings. Also, do not buy a used one as it is a bit delicate and should be cared for.

I use it as a portable karaoke system. Since it is an amp/mix in one unit, less thing to move around when you relocate the entertainment location. Setup is easy, I don't even have to read the manual.
I wish it have a little bit more power to drive a bigger speaker.

Good product for small gigs. Very easy to carry and set up. Quiet amplifier and decent effects. It would be nice if speaker outputs were 1/4" in addition to Speakon connectors. Power is probably adequate for small to medium gigs but it won't blow you away; consider the power rating that you need. 500W isn't really what it seems, though most power ratings have some spin in them.
