Documentation is sparse- only pictures, but this is probably to save cost on language translation. At one point the pivot came apart and it took some experimentation to determine how to correctly get the position-locking pin oriented correctly, but I eventually got it. Once installed the unit performs as expected and seems quite solid. Pick your mounting spot well though, since there's no lateral movement, only tilt adjust and a very modest Left-to-Right pivot angle. For a celing mount unit bolting into an existing ceiling beam (I didnt have to go inside celing drywall) it worked very well and was a pretty quick install. I'd recommmend this unit - it offers performance as advertised and is priced reasonably. If the doc was a little better it would be clearer how the components fit together - I found the locking nut on the bottom myself, it wasn't shown anywhere that made it clear that this was necessary. A less savvy installer might overlook this, which means someone could later bump the TV from the bottom, causing it to fall - and - disaster.

This product was ready to install right out of the box and had very little assemply required. Installation was really easy and it works great for mounting a TV to the ceiling in a corner location. It is sturdy and solid so it will not break or fail. Good product.

I used this product for two 40" samsung lcd TVs. As long as you prepare the intended location with wood blocking, this mount installs in a flash. I installed one on a drywall ceiling and one on an acoustic drop ceiling. The product finishes very nicely and has several inches of vertical adjustment. The horizontal swivel adjustment is minimal but if you take a second to measure where your intended viewing angle is before you screw the mount to the ceiling then there will be no problem. The mount also has a diagonal swivel adjustment so you can dial in precise level once the TV is installed. Keep in mind that this bracket can only be hung on a flat ceiling. You could probably hang it on a sloped ceiling if you modify the blocking.

Works well, but a little expensive for what you get. We had to drill additional holes to get the TV as close the the ceiling as desired. We would have preferred more vertical adjustment.
