Compared a good many speaker systems and I wanted one that was a matched set. This one fits my requirements nicely. The room I have them in is roughly 12x20'. Easy size to live with, and the sound is good. JBL packages this set well and shipping posed no issues with damage. Speaker wire included with these works well. Speaker enclosures are heavy, substantial, and overall have a good fit and feel.

I currently live in an apartment but still wanted a quality surround sound system. I reviewed a few others, but in the end felt like this one gave the most bang for the buck with out going all out. The kit comes with all the wiring and mounting brackets needed for installation, again a value in itself. The sub-woofer is as big and powerful as people claim. The rest of the speakers are great for their size and are clear. Over all a great product!

I use the system with a sony receiver for TV, Blue ray, CD player, and radio. The sound is very robust and solid at very high and low volumes with a deep base. The aesthetics are great and will much any standard black TV with a piano finish. Pleant of wire and all the accessories you will need to set the system up straight out of the box. The only thing that was a little unexpected was the size of speakers and subwoofer....a little bigger than I imagined.

This purchase was a downsize from larger Northridge JBL speakers due to space concerns. Despite the change in size, I happily saw no reduction in quality. These speakers are fantastic, crisp sounds at all volumes tested. In fact, I noticed slightly better integration of center channel sounds (the problem of low volume dialog and high volume music) vs. the Northridge series.

The amount of value in the box was shocking, included were adjustable wall mounts, fixed wall mounts, and even the cabling required to hook it up. Nothing extra was required other than the reciever. An excellent deal.

Its hard to find any faults with this package, it comes highly recommended. The only warning I would give is that the pictures don't give a true idea of how big that sub truly is. Those familiar with subwoofers won't be that surprised, but if you're new to them, it could be a shock.

For the price of the sound system,you are getting
your money's worth! Looking at the Bose system,

Have been looking for a new setup to replace my Bose system. After reading reviews and listening to my friends speakers (they were older JBL's) I decided on these. Have had them in for three weeks and I'm very pleased. The difference between these and my Bose speakers is night and day. I've had many compliments over the holiday from friends and family as we watched Star Trek, GI JOE , and Transformers. Before getting the subwoofer tweaked for the room It actually knocked some ceiling tiles out of place while watching Iron Man on the first night after setting up the system. The color is a match with the my flat screen. Came with wall mounts for all five speakers and more then ample speaker wire for the whole system saving at least another hundred dollars worth of extras. I am using this setup for a room that is 10'x14' with a 49" flat screen.

I originally bought the SCS500.5 6-Piece Home Cinema Speaker Package, but returned it becuase I wasn't satisfied with the sound. The CS6100 5.1 speakers are much better. Worth the price.
