I bought this lens primarily for 4Way and 8Way competition video and am very pleased with it. The angle is plenty wide enough to capture any exit but still tight enough to give you a little space on the flat. The overall size is nice and compact. The video is crisp and the colors are bright.
Things worth noting: (a) The measurements listed here are incorrect - the length is 1.6" and the diameter is 1.9" but these numbers are reversed on the specs page. (b) I use this lens on a Sony CX100 and there is some slight vignetting due to the fisheye effect, but it is very minimal.
You really can't find a better lens at this price.
