The Equinox UK Light Cannon setup is a 10W HID light that can be used for video. The light produces three times more light per watt of battery power than standard xenon or halogen lamps. As a result, the light provides the underwater videographer with bright and constant light.
The 6000° K color temperature is the same color as the sun, and will bring out the true natural colors of the underwater world. The light is powered by eight C cell batteries. A 12" flexi-arm that can easily attach to Equinox housings is included.

- High 6000° K color temperature gives the beam the same color as sunlight
- Up to 1000 hour lamp life
- Improved spectral quality allows light to travel farther through water
- Powered by disposable alkaline batteries or rechargeable UK Ni-Cad Upgrade kit, can also use individual Ni-Cad or NiMH C-size batteries

You certainly get more for your money on this equipment. The light output is really great in relation to battery power.
I just wish thought that the Flexi Arm is a little bit sturdier. It was too flexible for my taste and keeps bending when I don't want it to bend.
This video light works well at home too as a flashlight. It gives out a lot of light and can momentarily blind an intruder in your home.

The loc-line segments don't provide enough stiffness to hold the light upright. It constantly sags down to the side. Too much money for something to work so poorly
