The product works great on my Fujinon lens JVC GY-HM700 camera. However, the product description does not specify that the handle only fits a Manfrotto tripod. My tripod is an E Image with 16mm handle. After searching I found a Manfrotto adapter, but it is no longer available marked 'discontinued'. I ordered from Manfrotto but the order was cancelled as 'out of stock'. So, my dilemma continues until I can find an adapter or, as Manfrotto would surely prefer, I purchase a Manfrotto head or tripod kit.
It's very frustrating to be hung up by one small part.

I purchased one of these controllers for my fujinon lens over a year ago and I use it extensively. It works very smoothly and is a real joy to use. I shoot about 90% of my footage from a tripod and this little tool really aids me in making smooth, consistent zooms as well as well controlled pans and tilts. The little speed controller makes it much easier to make the proper speed zooms. I had problems controlling zoom speeds before I got this tool, but not now. Every zoom is smooth and slow, just like I like them to be. I can't imagine how I ever got by without one of these controllers. The money was well spent.
