The Porta Brace HIP-2 Hip Pack, Medium (Midnight Black) is designed to hold tapes and batteries or other personal effects. It can be used either in the belly position or fanny position. The main compartment has a reinforced interior. There is a pocket on the front, a zippered pocket on the top, three front slip pockets, a side pocket and a pocket for your keys. The pack has a wide, quick-release waist belt.

Bought this bag to hold my Sound Devices 702T while doing double system with the Canon 5D2.
We had to cut the lid out of the middle compartment but then it was a perfect fit. Accessing the xlr inputs is a little tight but angled cables should solve that.
As others note, the zippers are abnormally loud. But some little elastic hair ties tied wrapped the zipper handles dampened them.
Over all very pleased. Much lighter having the sound recorder on my waist with this bag than carrying it over the shoulder as I used to do when shooting video.

Great accessory with enough pockets to put all of the important stuff in while you're on location and not get weighed down and feel like you're a mule. Also is tough enough to stand up to the outdoors. Would definitely recommend this product for all shooters, grips, gaffers, and even makeup artists on location.
