The Smith-Victor Q60-SG 600 Watt Quartz Light with 2 Leaf Barndoors is a contemporary-styled, general purpose 600 watt quartz halogen light for photographic and video applications. Supplied with permanently attached 2-leaf barndoor set for optimal light control and glass shield for safe operation. Produces an 80° beam angle.
This Smith Victor 600 watt Open Face Quartz Halogen Flood Light is supplied with a bulb for 120 volt AC operation. This fixture will function with 230 or 240 AC Voltage, with the appropriate bulb and plug adapter, both available separately.

For the price they are ok could use slot for gels and a dimmer switch. But it was easy to add my own

3.5 stars (no half in rating)
Good when you need a high output light. Fairly decent quality, not as sturdy as my Lowel lights, but half the price. Decent output.
On a short film shoot yesterday, used it on a balcony to pump light in through a window. I could clip gels okay. 'On' switch is on back of light, not inline on the the power cord (like my Lowels). If light is high up on a light stand, get a ladder.
'Tilt' axis (aiming up/down) is flimsy.
Wish it had four barndoors, it has more spill because of that. But light is perfectly functional, as long as you're careful with it.
