Does the job. Not as bulky as my old one. Arrived quickly. Seems a little more flimsy than my old cord, which was an aftermarket product. But then, that one fell apart after having it a year. Time will tell. I'm very pleased for now.

When I bought the keyboard, the shop tried to sell me a "convenience" kit with headphones, this wall jack and a couple of other things I didn't need, for $. All I needed/wanted was the AC adapter, but they couldn't sell it separately. I was really glad to find it here at a great price.

For some odd reason the old adapter just quit....was only a few months old. This is the exact replacement and we're up and running again!

This is pretty straightforward - if you have one of the entry-level Yamaha PSR or EZ-series keyboards, you should have a plug-in AC adapter. Then you can make music all day long.

This power adapter was a great purchase for us. My son uses his keyboard all the time, and I was replacing batteries constantly. Now, I don't have to worry about the power ever dying. The adapter is inexpensive and works perfectly. Much better and more cost effective than buying new batteries all the time.

It works perfectly and the cord is an appropriate length. Basically like any other brand name product, you should buy this if you don't want to worry about polarity, amperage and voltage compatibility when using with yamaha products.
Note: the pros and cons seem to be for a musical instrument not a power adapter, so they really don't apply.

I had tried to go to some local electronics stores and was told original power adapters are best for the keyboard to function properly at higher volumes. It is nice to be able to save on batteries as well.
