The Altman Micro Ellipse II is a pattern projector with a 20 to 40° variable zoom focus. The anti-reflective coated, high performance lenses deliver bright & crisp pattern or graphic projections via an optional steel or glass E size pattern.
The dual lenses of the ME2 move smoothly and evenly on steel guide rods with Teflon bushings to provide accurate alignment. Four framing shutters are provided for precise cropping of the projected light.

- Additional accessories, such as barndoors, pattern holder, Iris, and track lighting adapters are available separately.

I use this pight to project background patterns for small space interview setups.
Excellent focus/defocus capabilities to create a natural feel. Internal shutters to shape lighted area. Takes E size rosco metal gobos.
At 75W, doesn't have a lot of juice, but works well in sall spaces.

I use this to add interest to the background of video interviews. It is light weight and can create many interesting effects, including breakups and slashes. It's a little bit clunky to use, and I wish it had a bit more light output, but it's a very useful tool. I bought a stand adapter, so I could use it on a regular light stand or c stand.
