You've just labored over your magnum opus in iMovie HD, and now you want to share it with the world. The included software can convert your DV video for use with the Apple TV, iPod and Sony PSP.
Hardware Acceleration
A 2 GHz Core 2 Duo MacBook can take up to an hour to encode ten minutes of DV video to H.264. This USB hardware accelerator cuts that time to less than 12 minutes on the same system. Users with older G4 or G5 systems can experience even more dramatic performance improvements.
Multitasking is a Reality
Encoding video via standard methods can slow your computer to a crawl. High-quality video compression is often a task best left running while you slumber. The hardware acceleration capabilities of this device free your computer's CPU when encoding video; you can be free to browse the Internet, listen to music or check your e-mail while your video is encoded.
