Comments about AJA GEN10 High Definition/Standard Definition Synchronizer/Generator:
The fact that you take the power supply out of the box and sell it separatelyis totally ridiculous. I opened the box and there is clearly a slot where the power supply used to sit but lo and behold...no power supply. I have to buy it for and additional [$] and wait and additional week before I can used the item.I would prefer that you were honest and just add the [$]to the purchase price instead of playing stupid games. I am in no hurry to buy from B & H again. I made my next purchase from [@].

Comments about AJA GEN10 High Definition/Standard Definition Synchronizer/Generator:
I needed this unit to Synchronize 3 systems. 2 of the systems needed 29.97 NTSC sync and the other needed 23.98. Although all the clocks are fed from a single source there is a delay of up to 1 frame. It drifts from 99 subframes to 4 subframes. At least on my unit. Not bad though but there are very expensive units that give you a complete lock. If you have a very limited budget go for this unit. I'll probably spend the bucks soon and get a quality unit.

Comments about AJA GEN10 High Definition/Standard Definition Synchronizer/Generator:
I bought this Blackburst Generator for use with the Kona 3 card and K3 box that I also purchased from B and H. A very affordable sync solution. The small unit has a series of dip switches on the back that allow you to generate different formats of SD and HD sync (simultaneously). The numerous outputs (6 in total) are handy if you have many video devices to sync.
Make sure you order the AJDWP12V POWER PLUG f/D-10 to go with the unit if not you will have no way to power the device.

Comments about AJA GEN10 High Definition/Standard Definition Synchronizer/Generator:
For the price, I have no regrets. The little DIP switches are a pain to use if you have to change standards regularly. I taped a chart to the back for reference because 5 or 6 switches need to be in the right position for a particular setting. Also, on this unit bi-level and tri-level sync are not always in the proper relationship to each other when they could be. There is no drift so if you use one or the other you'll be okay but if you need both at the same time, consider a different product. However, for the price it delivers solid performance and is a great value. It does not cover every possible frame rate but it supplies all the most likely, more than I will need.
