The REVERB MACHINE RV600 from Behringer is a reverb modeler foot pedal that delivers a broad choice of reverb effects, including spring, plate, room, hall, ducking, echo and space sounds. The RV600 uses the company's Real Sound Modeling (RSM) processor and DSP technology, allowing your guitar to sound like you're playing in a cave, a cathedral, or even the outer reaches of the space.

Twisting the dedicated dials selects authentic models of Ducking, Space, Cave, Tile, Echo, Vintage '63 Spring, Spring, Plate, Room, Chamber and Hall reverbs. Tweak the dedicated Mix, Decay, Time and Tone controls along with the Trails On/Off switch to create reverb that is resonant, abrupt, or just plain otherworldly.

The pedal is easy to use. A blue status LED indicates the pedal is active and the top-quality on/off switch maintains superior signal integrity in bypass mode. The box is powered via a 9V battery or the company's PSU-SB DC power adapter (neither is included).

Comments about Behringer RV600 - Reverb Modeling Effects Pedal:

This pedal is worth the price for the "63 sp" alone.I have the FRV1 "authentic 63" pedal also, and I can't tell the difference in an A/B comparison. If you're into surf music,"63 sp" is the setting for you. This thing has such a variety of verb sounds,it really is the only reverb pedal you'll need."Space" is one of the coolest reverbs you'll ever hear.Very ambient and lush.It can make your guitar sound like a choir.I run the RV600 directly into my recording console, and it is absolutely quiet. It sounds great in 24-bit Hi-Resolution stereo. The true bypass works as advertised Like all the Behringer pedals, there is no "click" between effects settings. This makes it a little difficult to change modes on the fly.The blue light blinks as you move between the different reverbs, but with eleven reverb modes so close together, blink and you miss it.The body of the unit is made of heavy gauge plastic, and has a nice heavy feel to it,but I'm not sure I'd stomp on it,as the footswitch plate and hinges are plastic also. The battery is under the footswitch, and you have to use a pointed object to push out the hinge pins to replace it.The RV600 Reverb Machine is a pedal that ranks up there with boutique pedals that cost 5 times as much.Is the Reverb Machine a perfect pedal? No,but most pedal aren't. They all have their limitations, even the boutiques, and the RV600 is no exception. But what it does give you for a very decent price is a huge variety of options that will go a long way in helping you shape your personal sound. It's price makes it a great entry level pedal, but it's range of reverb modes make it the only reverb pedal a pro may possibly need.

Comments about Behringer RV600 - Reverb Modeling Effects Pedal:

Received this pedal as a birthday gift from my girlfriend. I wasn't expecting much from it, but man is it cool! I am using the octave setting with delay, and it really adds a beautiful and interesting quality to your clean sound. It also rips on power-ballad type leads. Haven't used any other settings much, but they sound fine for the little bit I messed with them. Not noisy, not much tone-killing, and worked well out of the box. It could be a little more solid feeling... But I imagine thats part of the price tradeoff. All in all, a great product for the price.

Comments about Behringer RV600 - Reverb Modeling Effects Pedal:

I got this pedal as a gift for my guitar-playing brother, and it was an absolute *hit.* He has not stopped playing with it for about 3 consecutive days. This is, essentially, the single best ambient effects pedal you can get for under $50, hands down. I highly recommend the pedal, and even more highly recommend getting it from BHP!
