The Tri-Color Ink Cartridge from Microboards is a replacement ink cartridge that is compatible with the GX-2 Disc Publisher, the GX-Auto Printer, the G3 Publisher and the G3 Autoprinter. These devices use a single cartridge for printing, so you can be sure that this is the correct one to replace.

Since this is JUST an ink cartridge, I will say I'm going to use it to print CD's in a Microboards GX2 disc processor. The great thing about it is that the colors print strong and true. The bad thing is that something made it stop printing. Or just hang up and keep printing the same line over and over again. Some of these controls, I'm told, are in the cartridges themselves. I've had numerous problems with Microboards units, refusing to recognize the printer, insisting the ink cartridge was NOT the right cartridge, etc, etc. This has been a first for me. I did order two of them, tried the other one, it did the same thing. Hung up in one spot. I reloaded all the software 6 or 7 times. I made sure all the printer drivers were removed, then were updated. But still nothing. I don't know. It's a problem that plagues these machines.
That's my story, and I'm sadly sticking to it.....

This is a great quality ink for CD/DVD printing. Only downside is that it is so stinking expensive.

Comments about Microboards Tri-Color Ink Cartridge:
I've purchased this product from other companies and this was the first time that it worked so well. I got most of my DVD printing done with two cartridges. I only had to change it out whe nit was empty.

The color are vivid as my DVD's and CD's are printed directly on the disc. I've had no problems with the cartridge in the G3 publisher.

I am a producer of films for the wine industry. I use a Microboards G3 printer (works on this as well as GX-2). I use the highest setting and still get more discs than expected

Comments about Microboards Tri-Color Ink Cartridge:
These cartridges last a while, and produce rich, vivid color. Too bad I don't have anything nice to say about the actual GX-2 Duplicator itself.
Comments about Microboards Tri-Color Ink Cartridge:
Works, but forces change before empty, wasting ink.
