The Manfrotto Super Salon 280 Camera Stand offers support for every camera size, and generally vary by versatility of their movements. They're equipped with retractable wheels for easier placement around the studio.
The Super Salon 280 (old cat #0841) is Manfrotto's flagship of the segment, sporting a pneumatically dampened column which travels nearly to the height of 9 ft. The Super Salon 280 has a 4 in diameter black anodized aluminum column and a 39.3 in horizontal camera arm that travels 24.4 in. The wheels are engaged and disengaged with a single foot pedal, and the lateral arm sports a counterbalanced rack-and-pinion drive mechanism.

I totally understand what the above photographer said about the stand not moving without a ton of effort. I had the same problem but it is easily resovled by flipping it on its side and adjusting the wheel hight by an adjustment bolt. Once this is done the Super Salon become well worth the money.

Does not roll easily on the floor - requires a lot of power to move. I had a much cheaper Chinese stand that moved effortlessly. Otherwise this one is perfect - has all the angles and movements you could possibly want. I did not have a chance to check this, but I believe Cambo stands move better on the floor.
