This is the tried-and-true, standard flash head of the Speedotron Black Line. Each 102 head is consistent in power output, and ease of reflector, flash tube, and model light change.
All Black Line light units utilize modular construction for easy storage and travel and are cabled with the new locking/quick-release power supply connector which is compatible with all older Black Line power supplies. A power supply for this flash head is required.

Comments about Speedotron 102 Lamphead with 7" Reflector:
I am a studio photographer with studios in Lancaster, PA and Philadelphia, PA. We specialize in Boudoir portrait work. We create very complicated lighting set-ups that include lighting the subject and the set. This light can handle both the power (when needed) and the hight frequency shooting pace we need. If you need portability this is not the model for you. The 202 light is better in that department

Have owned Speedotron equipment for 15+ years. Only now the fans are getting loud and I need to send them in for repair. Heavy but reliable.
