The Interfit Home Studio EXD200 (110VAC) is a lightweight, economical lighting kit that gives you a total of 400Ws of power in two monolights, 2 light stands, a 24" (60 cm) softbox, a translucent umbrella, sync cables, bulbs, fuses and a kit bag to hold everything. Precise power adjustment in 1/10 f-stop increments and a 4 f-stop range give you excellent control over your lighting. A built-in slave cell responds to flash or to the optional infrared transmitter, and audible and visible signals alert you when the power packs are fully recycled. It even has a program that overcomes the problem of pre-exposure flash from a camera setting off your flashes prematurely.

I bought this as my first home studio kit and I'm happy with my purchase. Might not have all the bells and whistles as more expensive kits but it gets the job done. Love the easy to use digital controls.

Our needs are fairly simple, just shooting some basic apparel shots as needed and this worked kit works like a charm!

Comments about Interfit Home Studio EXD200 (110VAC):
Bought this as a starter lighting kit for my small home studio. Set up was very easy and fast. The softbox was the only thing that took a while to build. The settings were very easy to use and understand.
Everything seemed like it was very good quality. Great considering the price of the kit. Extension cords were long enough to be able to set it up properly and not have to worry about where to plug it in at. Sync cord was long enough to be able to move about semi-freely wihtout worrying about getting too far away from the lights. The built in slave made syncing the two lights together a snap.
Overall I think this is a great kit for a small home studio. The lights aren't too powerful but they were more than enough for my size of room. My first newborn shoot with these lights turned out great. Colors look good and the lighting remained consistent through the entire shoot.
The only complaints I have, and reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the carrying case had a divider at the bottom to seperate the stands from the rest of the kit. The divider isn't attached on the sides and so sometimes the divider would shift and expose the stands to the rest of the items in the kit. I may look into attaching velcro straps to the sides to prevent it shifting.
Also two of the LCD lights that display the power work intermittenly. So a 9 would sometimes display as a 4. Not a big enough problem for me to return the lights though.

Interfit lighting products are durable and fit the beginner to the pro based on price and versatility. This kit will augment with all my other Interfit lighting systems giving me almost infinite lighting options. What's most appealing is the digital aspect of these units giving precise settings.

Comments about Interfit Home Studio EXD200 (110VAC):
After much research, selected this Home Studio kit as my entry into studio lighting. I could not be happier with my selection. A complete kit, simple, quality construction, a snap to put together and easy to use. No instructions are provided with the kit, however they are not needed. Each piece goes together as one thinks it should and the operation of the EXD200 is very intuitive. An excellent product for the budget minded and beginner.
